When I first started beekeeping, cell phones didn’t exist, and I managed my hives with paper records. Over the years, I watched electronic record keeping evolve, but it always felt impractical rather than like a true tool. I decided to change that by building a phone app designed for a commercial beekeeping business.
As our business grew, we were encouraged by how many customers approached us for mentorship. While we always wanted to help, it became impossible to meet everyone’s needs one-on-one. We realized that by modifying our commercial records app into a simple, fast tool, we could share that guidance with our entire community.
